Meet Nkechi: The Virtual Assistant Robot
Nkechi is a humanoid robot currently built by the Team of Robotics Africa. The Humanoid is to be built with Robotics and Artificial Intelligence expertise based on the features, The humanoid Robot when finished it's intended to have
- A real-time interaction with humans.
- Move around the office area.
- Engage in a conversation.
- Can detect faces and call Names based on identification.
- Can interact with anyone around the office area.
- Can greet anyone that comes around her.
- Can perform a match pass with head movement incorporated.
Smart Irrigation System
Smart irrigation system is meant to help improve agriculture system being practiced in Nigeria. Here we are going to adopt Artificial intelligence technologies to help;
- Automate the watering system in farming.
- Monitor farm weather report remotely.
- Get status report of the current state of plant growth.
- An AI Camera system that detects disease infected plants.
- AI camera system that detects Rodents and pests.
- Remote Notification system.
- Self generated ultrasonic sound wave for scaring prey and rodents.
Face Mask Detection System
Using AI technology, we build a system that detects if someone is putting-on face mask or not. The designed using computer vision, it's meant to;
- Prevent people without mask from entering a building.
- Companies will use this system to track staffs that are not compliant.
- In order to prevent the spread of the virus, this system can be used to enforce the wearing of face-mask.
